Stove Top Kettles Review: the Le Creuset Kettle

From a Le Creuset kettle build quality viewpoint, the hand-crafted forging and casting techniques have remained essentially unchanged since 1925.   Le Creuset introduced the Enamel on Steel product line in 1991 – this is when multiple layers of strong, chip-resistant enamel are applied post casting.  This process gives all the Le Creuset kettle models their characteristic beauty and tough non-reactive surface.

The Le Creuset kettle models have been built with safety in mind.  These stove top kettles have dual handles which lock securely into place for safe pouring and transport.  Also, the fixed whistle of the Le Creuset kettle serves as an alarm to prevent the kettle from boiling dry.  Both the lid and the handle are made from heatproof phenolic plastic for a stay-cool grip.

There are a variety of Le Creuset kettle models to choose from, although these may vary by country.

So in short, the answer is “Yes” as to whether the Le Creuset Kettle range is any good.  For more detail of each of the Le Creuset whistling stove top kettles, visit Le Creuset Kettle Reviews.
